TwoCentVent was founded in 2026 by a small team of compassionate individuals devoted to creating a space for anyone and everyone to vent their frustrations...to a real, living person. We all have experience with the mental health industry, some personal and some professional, and we all agree that, above all else, it IS an industry. The simultaneous privatization and monopolization of mental wellness have watered down the resources available to the average, working-class person and built a wall around support. The impersonal, off-white clinic has its role, and that's treatment. But you're probably here because treatment isn't what you want.
YOU WANT SUPPORT.
Support is hard to find when everyone around you has a stake in either your success or your failure. Support is hard to find when therapy is designed to help you fix your thinking, your responses, and your behaviors. Friends can support you, but inevitably, either bias or emotion will often take the reigns of the conversation from your hands.
With the exponential increase in popularity of AI chatbots, many people have turned to the warmth of the inanimate in AI friends, lovers, and companions of every kind. Computers, however, in their infinite knowledge, perspective, and reason, cannot replicate compassion, in any of its facets. Warmth, understanding, patience, and kindness are our united philosophy at TwoCentVent. However, they are secondary in priority to the thing that unites us all, in spirit and in self: the gift of life.
TCV's vision is for you to be able to vent your frustrations to a compassionate, living, breathing human being who cares...while still having the freedom to choose what kind of input you'd like to receive, if any. You will be able to book your vent, choosing whether you need sympathy, insight, or encouragement, to start, and from there, you'll be able to select a tone (or vibe!), and we'll match you to the best Listener for your needs!

As a group, we have avoided the usage of generative AI in the creation and editing of our website, business model, concepts, art, and tools to the best of our ability. We will continue to do so as we branch out as a group, as a company, and people.
